Molina Center Name Unveiled For Office Towers

Molina Center

March 27, 2012 – The Arco Center Office Towers at 200 and 300 Oceangate in Downtown Long Beach have been renamed Molina Center. Long Beach-based Molina Healthcare, one of the city’s largest employers, purchased the complex late last year. The center is comprised of two 15-story towers with a three-level parking structure on a 4.54-acre parcel. The total building square footage is 461,263. Molina Healthcare currently employs 700 people at the center, but will be relocating other employees to the buildings from various locations in the city. “Molina Healthcare has been doing business in Long Beach for over 30 years, and this purchase reflects our continued commitment to operating here and serving the Long Beach community,” J. Mario Molina, president and CEO of Molina Healthcare, said. “Owning this property will allow Molina Healthcare to continue to expand and to provide quality health care to even more people.” According to Molina, the company, which serves more than 4.3 million people in 16 states, is contemplating some property improvements and upgrades, but hasn’t made any final decisions yet.
