Long Beach Featured In New York Times’ “36 Hour” Travel Series

New York Times 36 Hours

March 27, 2012 – The City of Long Beach was featured March 18 in the “36 Hours” travel series of the New York Times. The series, which has spotlighted locations around the globe from Bali to Budapest, creates a 36-hour itinerary whose stops choreograph an entertaining trip for both the explorer and the armchair traveler. New York Times writer Freda Moon’s short journey through Long Beach showcased numerous attractions, eateries and shops throughout several of the city’s neighborhoods including Alamitos Bay, the East Village Arts District, Retro Row and more.
