City Officials Gather At New Police Station

Signal Hill Police Station

January 15, 2013 – Some of the happiest people in the City of Signal Hill are its police officers, who are finally going to move out of very cramped quarters at the existing police station on Hill Street, to a new, state-of-the-art, roomy station that opens this month at 2745 Walnut Ave. The $18 million facility was held up several times for a variety of reasons over the past two years, but now the finishing touches are nearly complete, with a grand opening ceremony planning from 1 to 3 p.m. on January 26.
