January 29, 2013 – Andrea Robertson (pictured) is the new general manager of the 216-room Courtyard by Marriott Long Beach, located at 500 E. 1st St. in Downtown Long Beach. Robertson began her career with Marriott in 2004 and has worked in the San Francisco Bay and Los Angeles South Bay as a sales leader. She is a graduate of Sonoma State University and is married with two daughters. This spring, the hotel, according to its web site, plans on opening Vessel Restaurant, “a $1 Million addition to the Courtyard, [that] will offer Modern American cuisine with regionally inspired menu offerings, served in a fresh, downtown atmosphere.
