February 12, 2013 – Former Long Beach Unified School District teacher Dup’e Aleru is the CEO and founder of Tutors for Tots, which opened on January 12 at 5541 E. 7th St. The business offers one-on-one education consulting, language tutoring, special education, test preparation, summer camp and other tutoring and counseling services for students from pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade. Tutors are experienced in counseling, mathematics, special education, Spanish, physics, social science, history and college preparatory education. The private, in-home education company is supported by credentialed teachers and offers free in-person consultations for students in Long Beach, Lakewood, Cerritos, Bellflower, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Cypress, Carson, San Pedro and surrounding cities. Tutors for Tots office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Services are offered from 3-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
