May 7, 2013 – On May 1, owner Stephanie Coronado-Stomp moved her business from the Broadway corridor to the East Village Arts District at 314 Elm Ave., pictured above. The studio, which has been in business for three years, offers haircuts, color, perms, chemical straightening, extensions and highlights for both men and women. Envy Beauty Studio is an eco-friendly salon. Stylists use products that are water soluble, sulfate free and contain natural sunscreens and plant botanicals. All product bottles are biodegradable and everything in the store that can be is recycled. Envy will host a grand opening celebration from 6-9 p.m. on May 11 featuring a DJ, food and beverages, a red carpet and paparazzi.
