Brian Ulaszewski


June 18, 2013 – The American Planning Association’s Los Angeles Chapter (APA-LA) recognized Brian Ulaszewski, executive director of Long Beach-based non-profit design studio City Fabrick, for his contributions to urban design, writing, architecture and planning with its 2013 John Chase Visionary Award on June 13 at its annual awards event. Prior to his work with City Fabrick, Ulaszewski was an associate at Perkowitz + Ruth’s Studio One Eleven architectural design firm where he managed and led design efforts in parklets, traffic calming, curb extensions and more. In addition to Ulaszewski’s award, the City of Long Beach was recognized by APA-LA with its 2013 Comprehensive Plan Award – Large Jurisdictions for the development of the Long Beach Downtown Plan.
