Zinga Frozen Yogurt

August 13, 2013 – Co-owner Michael Cochran, right, and store manager Michael Kozlowski celebrate the opening of Zinga Frozen Yogurt at 1827 Ximeno Ave. near the traffic circle. The shop boasts 12 different flavors of frozen yogurt and Greek frozen yogurt offered on a daily basis, with flavors rotating several times a week, as well as 50 different toppings. Zinga Frozen Yogurt also has fresh baked brownies, cakes and waffle bowls made daily. This is the second Zinga Frozen Yogurt location for Cochran and co-owner Rick Swisher; the first location is in Culver City. By next year, Cochran and Swisher hope to open a third location in Orange County. Zinga Frozen Yogurt was established in 2011 as a franchise with 24 stores open in seven states and more than 290 shops in development across 12 states. The Long Beach location is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
