AirCare Long Beach

October 8, 2013 – Aircare FACTS Training held an open house on September 26 to celebrate its new location at the Long Beach Airport. The company, a division of Aircare Solutions Group, specializes in aircrew emergency preparedness for corporate, private and charter aircraft. The daylong event provided the opportunity to experience emergency training with specialized equipment firsthand. Guests toured cabin simulators and witnessed demonstrations of how to handle on-flight emergencies. Frank Hayes, a co-manager and instructor at Aircare FACTS, showed onlookers how to extinguish an on-flight fire in a simulator used to train aircrews. Director Brian Hayvaz demonstrated how to safely extinguish in-flight fires caused by overheated laptop batteries. Aircare FACTS Training has facilities in six U.S. cities, as well as a location in Amsterdam. The new Long Beach facility is located at 3280 AirFlite Way, Suite 222.
