The Long Beach Pedaler Society Begins Bicycle Taxi Services

Long Beach Pedaler Society

December 6 – The Long Beach Pedaler Society, headquartered at 110 W. Ocean Blvd., Suite 810 in Downtown Long Beach, began providing taxi services by bicycle on October 29 during the 4th Annual Long Beach Zombie Walk. Co-owned by Dana Seagraves, Jesus Chavez and Joseph Bradley, the Pedaler Society is fully licensed and sanctioned by the city. Its operators utilize bike lanes and “bicycle use” road markings to ensure a safe ride to customers’ homes, bars, restaurants and a variety of other destinations throughout select neighborhoods. “Through our licensing and permitting process we worked diligently with the city to make certain that we were implementing a fun, useful and, above all, safe operation that will serve the city for years to come,” Seagraves said in a statement. “We are changing the way bicycle taxis are viewed one city at a time and could not be more proud to call Long Beach our flagship operation.” For more information, visit www.pedalersociety.com or call 562/980-1861.
