The Bar Method Comes To Long Beach

The Bar Method

January 31, 2012 – The Bar Method, whose ballet-inspired workouts have garnered national attention through its celebrity clients, has made its way to Long Beach with the opening of a studio at 6695 E. Pacific Coast Hwy., Suite 125, on November 19. After its flagship studio opened in San Francisco in 2001 to positive reviews, founder Burr Leonard turned The Bar Method into a franchise with more than 50 studios currently operating across the United States and Canada. Owned by Andrea Davis and Joanna West, the Long Beach location provides its clients with a high intensity, no-impact fitness class that combines isometrics, interval training, dance conditioning and sports rehabilitation techniques for a safe and effective workout. According to their press release, Davis and West are excited to bring The Bar Method to the “friendly, fitness minded Long Beach community.” For more information about The Bar Method or for a schedule of the studio’s daily classes, visit www.longbeach.barmethod.com or call 562/596-0203.
