Salon Pop & Barber Shop Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary

Salon Pop & Barber Shop


February 14 – Salon Pop & Barber Shop celebrated its five-year anniversary on January 24. After opening its original location on Redondo Avenue and 11th Street in 2007, the salon relocated to 2218 E. 4th St. on Retro Row where its friendly vibe and vintage décor fit in easily amongst the funky mom-and-pop shops that line the street. Owned by Frankie Alvaro, Leslie Sundal and Nicole Welke, Salon Pop offers its clients a multitude of services, including haircuts and coloring, manicures and pedicures, waxing, facials and more. Salon Pop & Barber Shop is open Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is closed on Sunday and Monday.
