Sirach Acupuncture Opens In Bixby Knolls

Sirach Acupuncture Long Beach

February 14 – On October 24, Sirach Acupuncture opened in Bixby Knolls at 4000 Long Beach Blvd., Suite 215. After earning his certificate for Korean traditional acupuncture in 2003, owner Sung C. Cho, pictured, began practicing the alternative medicine treatment throughout community acupuncture clinics in Korea and eventually moved to the United States where he worked alongside an oncologist in Atlanta. During his time working in these practices, he witnessed acupuncture help relieve the symptoms of various diseases and disorders from which his patients suffered. Cho, who believes that “we have the greatest doctor in ourselves,” according to his Web site, specializes in using acupuncture to provide pain management to his patients, especially those afflicted with burn wounds or cancer. Sirach Acupuncture is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, by appointment only on Saturday and is closed on Sunday.
