Business Journal No Longer Uploading Stories,
Using Social Media Effective February 4

January 31, 2014 – Effective February 4, the Business Journal is no longer uploading selected stories and photographs to its website, www.lbbusinessjournal.com. However, the entire publication is being made available online for anyone to access free of charge. No advertising for the website is accepted.

The Business Journal is also eliminating its fan pages on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, effective February 4. Certain types of businesses benefit from social media and having a presence is vital to their success. It’s not the same for a newspaper. We encourage our readers to share the full publication with family, friends, coworkers and others using their own social media profiles.

Our free, weekly Monday Morning Coffee (MMC) e-mail continues. The one-page synopsis of meetings and events impacting the business community is well received. Individuals who sign up for MMC also receive an occasional NewsFlash if there is major breaking news, and an e-mail alert signaling that the latest edition of the Business Journal is live online. Sign up by visiting our site, www.lbbusinessjournal.com.
